This section was developed to implement Articles 15–18 of the
Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 4, 2003 “On State Regulation, Control and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations”, which establishes the Electronic Trading Platform for the sale of banking and microfinance assets for trading in relation to:
1 Property of a bank, an organization carrying out certain types of banking operations, or a bank’s subsidiary acquiring doubtful and bad assets of the parent bank, as provided in part one of paragraph 7-1 of Article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Banks and Banking Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan" (collateral previously used to secure obligations under a bank loan agreement that became the property of the bank as a result of foreclosure, as well as property transferred to the bank as compensation in lieu of fulfilling obligations under a bank loan agreement)
2 Property of a microfinance organization, as provided in part one of paragraph 7 of Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Microfinance Activities" (collateral previously used to secure obligations under a microcredit agreement that became the property of the microfinance organization as a result of foreclosure, as well as property transferred to the microfinance organization as compensation in lieu of fulfilling obligations under a microcredit agreement)
